The Results are in.... the Dr.'s letter arrived today!
WOW! I honestly don't know where to start. I am in tears writing this. I have tried so very hard over the years to lower my triglycerides & cholesterol. I have lowered my overall cholesterol level from 244 to 182! I have had SEVERE anxiety over my health due to my escalated cholesterol levels. All kinds of questions would race through my mind every day! How long has my cholesterol been this elevated? Am I predisposed to heart disease because of this? What have I done to my body?
I felt like a ticking time bomb!

Over a year ago I tried to cut out processed snack bars and foods. I was taking red yeast rice and fish oil supplements. I did NOT want to get on medication. As you can see my cholesterol went down but it was still not within a healthy range. This seriously was my last ditch effort to take control of my health. I told myself if eating clean, working out 5-6 times a week and being healthy does not lower my triglycerides & cholesterol then I will have to take medication. I give my Dr. a lot of credit for letting me work through this and try different things. I want to get my blood work done again in 6 months and get those numbers even better! I CAN and WILL do this!
This past March of 2014 I took control of my physical and mental health. I started seeing a therapist for my anxiety and started working out doing Focus T-25 5 days a week. In the last month I started another workout program called PiYo. I started drinking Shakeology for my breakfast. I can hands down say between clean eating, Shakeology and my workouts my life and anxiety levels have changed dramatically. For those of you who don't know about Shakeology I know these studies are real!

I urge you today to PLEASE get a routine blood screening done (if you have not already). Take charge of your health both physically and mentally. BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE EVERY DAY! If you read my about me you already know I lost my Father when I was 8. In reality life really is too short! Make a change today, step up and take charge of your health! Even if you do not have family health problems it is ALWAYS a good idea to have a basic blood panel done as a base line. That is how I found out several years ago that I had high triglycerides and elevated cholesterol. If I would have never done that I would have thought my diet and physical health was fine and who know what could have happened in a few years.
I am living proof that my daily exercise routine has been worth every blood sweat and tear that I have put into it. That my Shakeology for breakfast has helped me eat clean and curb my cravings for junk food! My weekly meal planning has created a fool proof meal for me every day!
I am so thankful that God has allowed me to be brave enough to jump into coaching. I am very thankful for my fantastic husband who has supported me with my health and fitness journey! I get teary eyed from time to time knowing that I am moving mountains for clients and for myself.
